Democratic Presidential Candidate Rocky De La Fuente is in New York City on Tues, 2/16. Can we talk?

Feb. 15, 2016 – PRLog — Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente got in to the race for President because he did not like the hateful vision of our country that Donald Trump was promoting. As a lifelong Democratic and former Super Delegate, Rocky was not hearing the other Democratic candidates stand up to Trump boldly. Rocky, a successful businessman who happens to be Hispanic, was offended by Trump on many different levels. Rocky felt that there should be more discussion on the Democratic side about ideas to counter Trump. Rocky felt that a perspective like his, one of fiscal conservatism and social progressivism was not being heard in the Democratic Primary debates.

Rocky will be in New York City and available for interviews on Tuesday, February 16. He has some interview slots available between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you would like to talk with him, please give Kitty Kurth a call at 312-617-7288 or email [email protected]

The Democratic National Committee and the some of the state parties are not interested in opening up the Primary discussion to diverse candidates and different opinions.
Rocky is on more ballots than Martin O’Malley ever was, but, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her staff won’t return the campaign’s calls, emails or even acknowledge a registered letter. This was not the reception that Rocky expected from the Democratic Party, his party.

The Republican party has had business people and minorities who are running as candidates for the Presidency on their side. They have been allowed on ballots and on the debate stage. Not so for the Democrats.

In Iowa and New Hampshire, despite the fact that election attorneys confirmed again and again that the campaign had fulfilled all of the requirements from the State Democratic Parties in order for Rocky to appear on the ballots, when his voters appeared at the polls they were not allowed to vote for Rocky. In Iowa, they were told there was no place for them to caucus and they would have to choose another candidate. In New Hampshire, they were told Rocky was not on the ballot and would have to be a write in vote.
