Rocky De La Fuente thinks actions speak louder than words

FLINT, Mich. – March 6, 2016 – PRLog — Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente is a Democratic candidate for President of the United States. He will not be participating in tonight’s debate because the DNC, as it has with every prior debate and town hall, has chosen not to invite him. However, he will be at the debate; just outside. De La Fuente will be handing out bottled water to Flint, Michigan residents.

While his counterparts will be inside getting national television exposure, he prefers to take action. De La Fuente, an extremely successful businessman, said, “I have a saying that evolved from my many years in business: ‘Don’t tell me what you’re going to do. Tell me what you’ve done.’ To me, past performance is a better indicator of the future than promises.”

De La Fuente continued, “We’ll probably hear what the other candidates say they will do for Flint, but what have they done in the past in situations like this? They’ve both been in politics forever. What magic is going to happen if one of them is elected President that suddenly is going to make them more successful at solving problems like this?”

Conversely, De La Fuente has a long record of overcoming obstacles. The fact that he is even in the race is an example. The DNC has not featured him in its ads, placed his name in the polls, invited him to a debate or even encouraged states to place him on their ballots. Yet, De La Fuente has qualified in about 40 states so far and passed former Governor O’Malley in that regard while the latter was still in the race.

So tonight, while his competitors will be telling you what they might do to help the residents of Flint, De La Fuente will be outside The Whiting at 1241 E. Kearsley Street actually doing something. It might be a small gesture in the grand scheme of things, but it speaks volumes as to how different a candidate he is.

Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente is living proof that the American Dream can be achieved by those who are inspired to pursue it. He has an amazing record of overcoming obstacles and achieving success. From being licensed by the FAA to fly single engine planes at the age of 20 to owning 28 automobile dealerships and becoming Chairman of the National Dealers Council for the third largest automobile manufacturer in the world by the age of 28, Rocky is in a league by himself. He also created a banking network in 1982 to help address an economic crisis in Mexico and established impressive real estate holdings throughout the United States while generating thousands of new jobs along the way. Rocky holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude) and exudes a passion for his country and for those who seek the opportunity to fulfill their version of the American Dream.
