Rocky Issues Renewable Energy Business Challenge to Iowa, Midwest

SAN DIEGO – Jan. 11, 2016 – PRLog — Democratic Presidential Candidate Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente today announced his intention to open a biofuels plant in Iowa.

“Biofuels are future fuels and I want Iowa, and the Midwest, to be beneficiaries of a new kind of facility.” said De La Fuente.

De La Fuente intends to build the new plant in cooperation with GFBioChemicals. GFBiochemicals is the only company to produce levulinic acid at commercial scale directly from biomass. In 2008, a group of bio based chemical experts saw the significant potential of levulinic acid to replace petroleum-based products across a range of market sectors. GFBiochemicals was founded to develop the production technology needed for this revolution in chemicals and biofuels.

“I would love to build the first plant in Iowa, but I will leave the door open for cooperation with other Midwestern states that may also want to help us build facilities there,” stated De La Fuente.

Renewable Fuels America 1 (RFA1), will be a joint venture with GFB to become the leading renewable green energy provider in America for years to come.

GFBiochemicals ( was recently in the spotlight when it was revealed that Arsenal Footballer Mathieu Flamini has been working with Pasquale Granata and GFBiochemicals for years.…

Iowa is RFA1’s first choice since Rocky has been living there, but he will also entertain offers from Midwestern states Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and others committed to the development of the green renewable energy and related levulinic acid products.

De La Fuente will be contacting states and municipalities in the coming months to determine the best site for his first biofuel facility.
