De La Fuente says, ‘It’s time to throw a Hail Mary’ in this Election Cycle

ORLANDO, Florida, November 3, 2016 – Like his movie namesake, “Rocky” Roque De La Fuente is not about to quit. De La Fuente is an independent presidential candidate as well as the nominee of the Reform Party and the American Delta Party. He knows he is up against astronomical odds, but he continues to fight, if not for himself, for the people.

De La Fuente is an extremely successful businessman like another candidate in the race, Donald Trump. As De La Fuente is a first generation Hispanic American, the similarities between the two seem to end with their affinity business. However, they do have one more thing in common: a belief that the political system is “rigged.”

De La Fuente says, “2016 will be remembered as the year that democracy was stolen. It will be remembered as the year where election fraud was perfected. It will also be remembered as the year in which the two major parties gave us the two worst presidential candidates in history.”

He claims to have suffered election manipulation and fraud during the Democratic primary in which he also participated, and he cites the high disapproval and low trust ratings of both candidates as evidence to back up his statement. Then, he says it does not have to be that way.

“There are other credible candidates whom the media has chosen to ignore,” says De La Fuente. “Even though we are six days away from the election, we can still tell the world that we Americans do not give up. We can still elect a President, just like we did in 1824, by forcing a vote in the House under the Twelfth Amendment (of the United States Constitution),” he continued.

“There are a lot of states the Republicans and Democrats choose to ignore because they don’t have many electoral votes,” pointed out De La Fuente. “If the voters in those states decided to cast their votes for third party candidates, their actions would be heard around the world.”

De La Fuente said, “States like Nevada, New Mexico and Utah are often taken for granted by the major parties while states like Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota are completely snubbed.” Case in point: last week, De La Fuente became the only candidate to campaign in Montana in 2016.

He said, “It’s time to throw a Hail Mary pass in this election, just like they do in football. As Americans, we need to keep our hopes alive, so we can begin to repair and restore democracy for our future generations. ”

De La Fuente is on the ballots of 20 states and is a write-in candidate in about 15 more. He has an electoral potential well in excess of the necessary 270. More information can be found at
